Conclusion

In hindsight, we realize that there is a lot of subjectivity with regards to analyzing data. Some questions arose, for example, what is the criteria for a question to be considered "higher level"?  We also feel that some of the discrepancies in the data could be contributed to one or more of the following reasons; student interest, previous knowledge of the subject matter, the complexity of topic or teacher expectations. The last insight we made about our data was that we tried to compare all "I wonder" activities to each other. In reality, each activity was unique and some of the "I wonders"  were more conducive to higher level questions or a variety of different questions than others.
